Copilot Money is a beautiful spending and net worth app for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and web. It categorizes with a model trained on your corrections, tracks investments, and now has a Money Assistant in beta. Copia is a zero-based budgeting app. The sheet is the product, not the dashboard.
Copilot is about $13/month or $95/year. Copia is $4.99/month, and you can budget by hand for free. If you live on Apple hardware and want investments next to spending, Copilot is ahead. If you want a cheaper budget you can run on the web today, that is us.
Where Copilot is better
The iOS app is the reason Copilot shows up on App Store finance charts. Widgets, Apple Card and Wallet integrations, and investment holdings with performance are real. Copilot Intelligence is strong at first-pass categorization. Recurring charges, tags, name rules, and a net worth view are all there.
There is no native Android app. You can use the web app in a browser. Copia is also still waiting on store listings, so we are not claiming a mobile win. We are claiming a price and method win, and a path that is not Apple-only.
Copilot has no lasting free plan. The value of the product assumes you connect banks.
Where Copia is better
Copia costs less, and the free manual plan is not a trial. You can run a full zero-based sheet before you pay. Copilot is a tracker with budgets attached. We start from give-every-dollar-a-job.
Receipts in Copia pull line items and can be forwarded by email. Photo import reads a statement or receipt into your ledger. The Copia Assistant can draft a budget and, after you confirm, write the change. Copilot's Money Assistant answers questions about your data. Different jobs.
You can also export and import CSV, add accounts by hand, and keep going when a connection drops. That is how we use it.

Switching
Download your Copilot transactions and import the CSV into Copia. Plaid is on both sides. Expect to rebuild categories. If you relied on Copilot for investments and net worth, keep that in mind. We do not replace that dashboard today.
