The Problem
Most budgeting apps give you a short trial and then ask for $15/month. If you want to try the method, or you are fine entering transactions yourself, you still hit a paywall.
What it is
Copia's free plan includes manual accounts, manual transactions, the full budget sheet, CSV import, and quick add. You can run a real zero-based budget without a card on file.
Bank connections, receipt capture, transaction rules, and AI tools are on the $4.99/month beta plan. That is one paid tier, not a ladder of upsells.
Why it matters
You can start today and decide later whether bank sync is worth $4.99. YNAB and Monarch Money are trial-then-paid. We would rather you keep the core budget for free.
