Copia TeamCopia Team3 min read

We've been heads-down since the last update. Here's what shipped between late January and mid-February: stronger budgets, a better AI chat experience, debt and savings in the budget, and a bunch of fixes and polish.

Changelog

Budget Improvements

  • Budget progress calculations are fixed so your numbers stay accurate.
  • You can now select entire categories or all categories at once in the budget selector, and remove categories from your budget from the list.
  • Debt and savings are now first-class in the budget: dedicated sections, debt amount on budget sheets, and savings in the budget list so you can set goals alongside spending.
  • Budget overview widget was redesigned with an interactive category breakdown, animated numbers, and clearer progress bars.
  • Categories can have custom colors with a picker, and those colors show up consistently in the budget overview.
  • AI budget suggestions now work for individual subcategories, and the AI budget button was repositioned for better visibility.
  • Budget overview shows actual income tracking, previous-month spending comparison, and date navigation so you can move between months without leaving the widget.
  • Subcategory display in the budget overview was improved with sorting and more detailed spending info; overspend is clearly indicated and issue reporting was improved.
  • You can link to specific subcategories from the budget overview (shareable links).
  • Budget changes save more reliably.
  • Budget number inputs (including expected income) were fixed so they behave correctly.
  • Budget inputs no longer auto-focus unexpectedly.
