•What it is: A way to import transactions by taking a photo. Point your camera at a receipt, a bank statement printout, or even a handwritten list of expenses and Copia reads it and creates the transactions for you.
Why it matters: Not every expense comes through a bank connection. Cash purchases, reimbursements, shared expenses, and paper receipts all fall through the cracks. We wanted a way to capture those without making you type everything in by hand.
How it works: You take a photo or upload an image from your phone. Copia's AI reads the amounts, merchants, and dates from the image and turns them into a list of transactions you can review before they are added to your budget. You can adjust any details before confirming.
User benefit: You can capture any expense, from any source, without manual data entry. Cash spending, paper receipts, and anything else that does not sync automatically can now make it into your budget in a few taps.
